Elvis 75
RCA Legacy Recordings
In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the birth of the King of Rock 'n' Roll, RCA Legacy Recordings has released this 25 song CD that spans Elvis Presley's career from the 50s thru the 70s. The CD opens with material from his Sun Records sessions with "That's All Right" and "I Forgot To Remember To Forget". The collection then makes the transition to Elvis' earliest hits on RCA Records with songs like "Heartbreak Hotel" and "Hound Dog". "Elvis 75" also features hits like "Jailhouse Rock", "Viva Las Vegas", and even Elvis' version of the gospel song "How Great Thou Art". Closing out the CD are several tracks from the 70s, including "An American Trilogy" and "Burning Love". There really is something for everyone. This is the perfect CD for someone wanting to start an Elvis collection, or for the Elvis fan who just wants a great cross-section of the King's music.
